Our Program
Accent Pontiac began its ninth year of programming in September 2024 with programming at Walt Whitman Elementary School, Alcott Elementary School, Herrington Elementary, International Language Academy (ILA), International Technology Academy (ITA), Pontiac Middle School, and Pontiac High School in Pontiac, Michigan.
This year, we serve approximately 270 students with regular programming. In addition to access to instruments and four days a week of intensive music education, Accent Pontiac hosts field trips, assemblies, guest artist performances, and a summer program, and reaches over 1000 students with exposure to new musical experiences.
